Panel PCs are based on the seventh generation Core i3, i5 and i7 Intel Kaby Lake H and Intel Celeron Skylake processors to handle complex industrial applications. Touch screen technologies, which enhance ease of use, include analog resistive and projected capacitive (for multitouch operation). This panel PC is available in a variety of display sizes and resolutions. There are options of either Standard or Low Profile bezel units. Both have resolutions up to full high definition.
IP65/IP66 (model dependant) environmental protection makes the Panel PC an excellent match for washdown applications such as food processing and life sciences. Fanless construction helps to ensure low maintenance operation and enhance longevity.
PCs enhance cybersecurity by integrating software. Multiple PCs with locally stored applications spread across a plant floor can increase the attack surface and security risks. ThinManager software allows applications to run and be maintained from a central and secure location. The new ThinManager-ready BIOS comes preinstalled in the industrial computers allowing you to take a new computer out of the box and place it directly into your ThinManager environment. The ThinManager console downloads all of the necessary application firmware and software without the need for Pre-Execution (PXE) or DHCP infrastructure. Just change the boot order on the new computer, define its IP address, and boot it into ThinManager. With over 100,000 configurations to choose from, the built-in ThinManager-ready BIOS is an industry exclusive. Plus, you’ll have guaranteed support from for your entire ThinManager system.
These PCs also contain a USB port on the back of the unit, which is sealed with a threaded cap that makes it easy to connect peripherals temporarily, adding the ability to replace the cap later to preserve the IP65 rating

Fully enclosed panels with IP65 protection offer decisive advantages when it comes to positioning operator terminals at the most convenient locations on the machine. For this reason, completely enclosed Automation Panel and Panel PC variants are available for mounting on swing arm systems.

The stainless steel swing arm panels are equipped with multi-touch or single-touch screens. These are easy and intuitive to use. Operational security is increased by ensuring that only sensible options are displayed on the screen. As a result, the possibility of error is kept to a minimum. The application determines which operating states are available for selection. This helps the user confidently navigate step-by-step through more complex procedures. The touch screens themselves have a smooth surface so that their integration in the operator panel allows them to continue meeting strict hygienic requirements.
The dimensions of the Panel PCs were designed to make it especially sleek. This means that additional handles are not necessary. A protected rear USB interface is a standard feature. A standard swing arm system can also be installed there
